How do I obtain a username and password?

In order to obtain a username and password on FiberBuys.com, you must establish a business account. To do so, you must complete a membership application. Once your application has been processed, your account will be available for use. You will be sent a username and password by e-mail. This process usually takes 5 business days. If you have any questions, please e-mail or contact us at 1-877-FiberBuys.

How do I place an online order with FiberBuys.com?

It's easy to order online from FiberBuys. Just follow these simple steps.

  1. Use the Product Search pages to locate the products of interest to you.
  2. Select the products you wish to purchase using the "Buy" column of the product search results table and click the "Add To Cart" button.
  3. Enter the quantity you wish to order on the Shopping Cart screen. You may also review any other items you have added to your cart. To remove an item from the cart, enter a quantity of 0.
  4. Click the "Continue Shopping..." button to return to the Product Search section or click the "Checkout" button to begin placing your order.
  5. Follow the instructions on the checkout pages. On these screens you will review your order, select from the billing and shipping profiles stored with your account, and enter the date the order is required by along with any special shipping instructions. You must also enter a purchase order number and confirm to whose attention the order should be sent, the e-mail address that will receive the order confirmation, and any special billing instructions. In case you need to update or add to your billing and shipping data, there are links on the appropriate pages to allow you to do this before processing your order.
  6. If you wish to place your order exactly as it appears on the Checkout screens, are satisfied with the billing and shipping information displayed, and agree to the total order amount displayed on the last Checkout page, click the "Process Order" button, or click the "Cancel" button to cancel the order.
  7. An Order Confirmation page will appear with a summary of your order and a confirmation number. Please write down the order confirmation number for future reference. You will receive an order confirmation via e-mail with the details of your order. Your recent orders can also be reviewed on your MyFiberBuys page.

How do I browse FiberBuys inventory and place orders using my Palm VII™ Wireless Organizer?

Its easy to shop FiberBuys with the Palm VII™ Wireless Organizer. Just follow these simple steps.

  1. Download the FiberBuys PQA (available to FiberBuys members on their Home Page).
  2. Read and accept the License Agreement and install the application onto your Palm VII™ device.
  3. Click the FiberBuys PQA icon and enter your FiberBuys.com username and password when prompted.
  4. Select a product category from the drop-down list and enter the search criteria for the products you are interested in on the following screens. Try to be as specific as possible, since the amount of product information that can be presented on each screen is naturally quite limited.
  5. The results of your search will appear on the following screen. You may click on each product where a link appears to view all the details of that item. Use the links and menus at the bottom of the screen to navigate through the search results, which may span multiple pages.
  6. Select the products you wish to purchase by checking the "Buy" box for each item and click the "Buy" button at the bottom of the page.
  7. On the following screen, specify the quantity of each product, enter a P.O. or your name, and enter the date the order is required by. To complete your order, select either "Process order using default profiles", "I'll select billing and shipping profiles" or "I'll call with instructions".
  8. If you chose "I'll select billing and shipping profiles", you will select from the billing and shipping profiles stored with your FiberBuys.com account on the next screen. You can update this data on the MyFiberBuys section of FiberBuys.com.
  9. An Order Confirmation page will appear with order details and a confirmation number. Please write down the order confirmation number for future reference. You will receive an order confirmation via e-mail.
  10. If you specified that you would call with special instructions, you will need to call 1-877-FiberBuys within 1 business day to finalize the order.

When will my order be processed and shipped?

All orders are processed and shipped as soon as possible. This is usually within 3 business days.

How do I cancel an order?

Once an order has been entered and you have received an order confirmation number, you cannot cancel the order. Please order carefully.

Is there a minimum purchase amount?

Yes. All products must be purchased in quantities greater than 300 pounds (1 carton).

Are there any Terms and Conditions of Sale?

Yes. All orders are subject to FiberBuys' Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Do prices include freight?

All FiberBuys' prices are F.O.B. destination for delivery in the Continental U.S. or F.O.B. port for all other destinations.

Can I ship to multiple destinations?

Yes. You will need to have entered each shipping address in your Shipping Profiles (reached from the MyFiberBuys page) before checking out. On the first Checkout screen, you will be asked whether all items are being shipped to the same address or to multiple destinations. On the following screens you will choose a shipping address from your profile database for each product and then enter any special shipping instructions for each destination. You then can proceed to the final Checkout screen and complete your order.

What are payment terms?

All orders are net 30 days. COD orders are not accepted.

What if I have lost or do not remember my username or password?

If you need assistance with your username or password, please contact us at 1-877-FiberBuys between 8:00am and 5:00pm EST, Monday through Friday.
